This is the fifth dedicated course on transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE) on congenital heart disease providing the participant with the essential theoretical basics, morphological aspects of common lesions in congenital heart disease as well as practical aspects of TOE in children and adults with congenital heart disease. This two-day programme is designed to take registrants from the basics of normal hearts and simple congenital heart disease to a hands-on imaging workshop in the afternoon.

A week-long course of contemporary echocardiography designed for cardiologists, cardiac technicians and general physicians with some previous knowledge of echocardiography. This course is geared to those who want to improve their knowledge and keep up to date with the ever-expanding ultrasound modalities. This intensive course will consist of lectures from worldwide experts and discussions on controversial subjects.
Paris-Echo 2019
https://www.escardio.org/Education/Courses/Endorsed/PARIS-ECHO-2019
As every two years, this “rendez-vous” for any cardiologist, will be an opportunity to update the knowledge in echocardiography of course, but also in all imaging techniques and in the use of these techniques to the service of patients as well as for best using new therapies (medications, implantable devices and surgeries).
Echocardiography is often indispensable for many of our care: in emergency, in consultation, in hospital settings.
These days, exams are repeated for example in the field of cardio-oncology or the follow-up of asymptomatic valvular. Technological advances allow for greater reliability, better reproducibility of our exams, and it is necessary to include these advances in our routine practice. PARIS-ECHO Imaging 2019 is made for this!
In the same way, in PARIS-ECHO Imaging 2019, it will be discussed the use of other imaging modalities: MRI, CT, SPECT, PET but also stress tests.
The Congress will be the place where “the imager-cardiologist” can, with the participation of anaesthetists, surgeons, interventional cardiology, EPs and all other clinicians, exchange and put in perspective the best use of Imaging-techniques that we have access to.
The industry in the field of imaging, prostheses and pharmacological agents will find a unique opportunity to share their novelties with the cardiac world (private and public practices).
All these new treatments find their place more easily thanks to the imaging and the appropriate teaching of the doctors who image the patients!
Thus, we wish to propose a large number of sessions and formats of sessions (from the symposium to the small groups), with always the desire to focus on exchanges and interactions.
